Our Story

   For more than 25 years, my work as a neuromuscular therapist has centered on caring for people. That experience has shaped the way I think about comfort, the spaces we spend time in, and the things we choose to bring into our homes.
   Maine Coast Candle Company grew from that same spirit of care, alongside a lifelong love of beautiful fragrance.  
   I believe luxury is found in the details: a fragrance that unfolds beautifully, the soft crackle of a wood wick, and a vessel that feels at home among the things you treasure. Quality matters to me because those details shape the entire experience.
   Each candle is hand-poured in small batches on the Maine coast, using coconut-soy wax and carefully selected fragrance oils. Our collections draw inspiration from the familiar beauty of Maine and the artistry of fine perfumery—from evergreen woods and quiet harbors to richly layered, unexpected blends.
   Behind every candle is a thoughtful approach to materials and an ongoing interest in understanding them. I care about what we bring into our spaces and how our choices affect the people we love, the pets who share our homes, and the natural world around us. Those considerations guide the questions I ask, the suppliers I choose, and the standards I continue to develop.
   My hope is simple: to create candles you look forward to lighting, with fragrances that make a room feel inviting and craftsmanship you can appreciate every day.
